Therapy with Me:

Helen Priddle MA MBACP UKCP(Reg)

MY APPROACH TO THERAPY:

I have a "Humanistic Person-Centred" approach to supporting you. This means that:

· I seek to provide warmth and empathy.

· I endeavour not to 'analyse' or judge; simply to engage in your experience with you.

· I believe that through gaining a deeper understanding of your experience we can uncover the potential for change.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

I’ve been working with clients since 2005. In addition to experience with a wide range of issues, I have a special interest in gender and sexuality having conducted some research on the subject.

I have a Master’s Degree (MA) in Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapy from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI) which was accredited by the University of Birmingham.

MY PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:

I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist.

I am a Member of the BACP.

I am a Graduate Member of SPTI.

I abide by the codes of practice of SPTI, BACP and UKCP.

I am a Member of the Counselling Directory and the Directory of Pink Therapists.

MY PRACTICE:

I have an evening practice in Nottingham city centre.

This is located at:

30 Park Row, NG1 6GR.

Therapy is conducted weekly for as long as you feel you need my support.

My fees are £30-45 per 50 minute session (depending on what you can afford).

The initial ‘taster’ session is £25 as this should be treated as an opportunity to get a feel for what it is like working together before you commit to anything.
